History
Crack Clan was created shortly after the clan feature was introduced on Fishtank.live, just prior to Season 2, by user 1-800. In its early days, Crack stayed under the radar, slowly gaining momentum and climbing the ranks until it appeared on the Top 8 Clans leaderboard.
At the time, Gold Clan held the #1 spot firmly. Crack, determined to take the top without forming any alliances, began a campaign of strategic growth and disruption. The tide turned when well-known chatter Aperture joined the clan. With his presence and coordination, Crack Clan began systematically taking down the clans ahead of them, one by one. Eventually, even Gold fell, and Crack Clan claimed the top position.
After the start of Season 2, Crack became a household name among Fishtank.live viewers. Their strategy of using targeted TTS messages in the tank—often ending with phrases like “Crack Clan,” “Crack Gang,” or “Crack the Planet”—made an impression on the contestants, who began referencing the clan frequently. This exposure sparked widespread curiosity and growth, with Crack’s membership surging past 1,000 members.
One key contributor to the clan’s influence on the show was gickygackers, a member known for crafting impactful and well-timed TTS messages that often shaped the mood and direction of events inside the tank.
This rise in popularity reignited and escalated tensions between Crack and Gold, resulting in near-constant battles for control of the leaderboard. Gold Clan acted as the primary aggressor, and the rivalry grew so widespread that official merchandise was released on the Fishtank.live store: two baseball-style T-shirts—one labeled “Goldstrikers” and the other “Globe Crackers”—in reference to the Crack slogan, “Crack the Planet.”
Clan Culture
-
Slogan: “Ain’t no cowards here”
Crack’s slogan is a reference to the cult song “You’ll Cowards Don’t Even Smoke Crack” by Viper the Rapper. The clan embraced the message as a reflection of their lone-wolf, no-allies philosophy. -
Mascot History:
Viper the Rapper originally served as the symbolic mascot for Crack Clan. However, after the release of his controversial track “You’ll neva find out I had someone locked in my garage for 5 years,” the clan officially distanced itself from him. Hunter Biden was designated as the new clan mascot. Despite the change, the original slogan remains a core part of the clan’s identity. -
Independence Policy:
Crack Clan is known for its refusal to form alliances. This stance has been a point of pride and one of the distinguishing features of the group.
